Filming Reports & Spoilers
Desmond will appear in the season 6 premiere episode. Source: Dark UFO
Claire appears in the premiere at LAX, still pregnant. After she leaves the plane, she and Kate get into a taxi and head to the hospital. Dave Lawrence (formerly the puppet master on Heroes) is the taxi driver. Source: Le Point d'Exclamation@DarkUFO
Claire will emerge from her hiding as a strong Rousseau-type character. Source: Ausiello
Kate and Sawyer were spotted filming at the docks. The source said that it was present day and on the island, which is odd because it seems like they arrive safe and sound at LAX. Source: TheODI
In the premiere Juliet and Sawyer "get closure" on the island. Source: DarkUFO
An extra on set says that he filmed on an interior plane set. It resembled flight 815 and on set was Jack, Kate (in cuffs), Sayid, Cindy and Charlie. Everyone was in pre-crash clothing and it looks like Charlie has an overdose in the bathroom. Source: Chinese Chicken@DarkUFO
Katey Segal, who played Locke's girlfriend, Helen, will be returning to the show for season 6. Source: TV Guide Magazine
Unfortunately, we will likely not be learning more about Libby in the final season. The actress who plays her will not be returning and Damon Lindelof has said "I don't want you to tune in waiting for the Great American Libby story, because it's not coming." Source: Comic Book Resources
The show is going to offer us an answer to one of the show's "oldest and most confounding" mysteries, and it's going to be an answer none of us expected to get. Source: EW
The show's focus will remain on the characters rather than the mythology, says Damon Lindelof, and season six will explore their relationships (including romantic ones) — just not in the way you expect. And yes, we'll get an answer to the mystery of the numbers, but it may not satisfy us. Also, we may be reading too much into the hieroglyphics on the new poster which seem to say "Who is the leader?" Source: E! Online]
A supposed inside source says Locke is a "man about town" on the island, reconnecting with a bunch of the original Losties, including a gun-toting Claire... and he finds time to get stabbed by a genuine Iraqi. Source: SpoilersLost
Talking to USA Today, Lindelof hints that nothing in the show's posters is accidental. Also, the mystery of why Walt was so special, and why the Others wanted to study him, will be addressed in the final season, and will attain a new significance — even if Walt himself doesn't come back. There's still a chance that Cynthia Watros may come back as Libby, but it's up to Watros. Also, Frank Lapidus has been promoted to "series regular" this season. (Yay!) We won't have to wait until the very final episode to start getting the big answers. Source: USA Today
